I’m really late to the party with this (there are already better options technically), but recently because the MotorStorm feature I’ve started creating some GIFs. And I find them like a good way to show some gaming moments that there are great, but not enough to a proper blog entry or other that I find funny for any reason. I’m going to recap them in new Gallery Posts that I will try to keep them in a monthly basis. Here the first five, mostly from the games I’ve played during last months (Note: changed to .webm, trying to make the page loading faster. Hope you don’t have problems to watch them. Please report any problem):
inFamous Second Son
inFamous Second Son (and also First Light, the standalone DLC released past summer) has some incredible particle effects. I found this video captured (didn’t make it in purpose of this entry) and I thought was perfect to make a GIF. I will certainly make more in the future, the game is beautiful (and I find it quite entertaining, maybe a little short)
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor
Monolith added past week a Photo Mode to their new game, which I’m playing right now. I can’t think a game without this mode, it’s incredibly addictive to pause the action and try to capture certain moments. Or trying new things, like this landscape shoot:
Destiny
Warlock’s Super Attack feels amazing every time I launch it. This was during a 3 person co-op Assault, it took our time to beat the enemy (this was the third super attack I made):
DRIVECLUB
Still waiting to replays and photo mode to start the game’s track feature, right now I’m enjoying it a lot. This game is addictive and gameplay is extremely enjoyable, I’ll recommend it to anyone who loves arcade racing and want some direct game. It’s purely pick it and race (through mesmerizing landscapes). Online gameplay is fun, but can’t wait to private lounges to avoid this kind of madness xD:
Watch_Dogs
Another controversial game this year. Still have to finish it, lot of people found it a bit boring or repetitive but the way I play it (small bursts) make seeing those problems difficult to me. The other debate it’s about the graphical downgrade it suffered, but I find it nice, more at nighttime, and explosions really shine (sorry, this is a bit cruel GIF):
