It has been a long time since last round of GIFs. I think soon I will change them to 10 seconds Twitter videos with sound (new PS4 firmware will allow that), but for now this is the best solution. For today I made a selection based on games that I’ve played (or I’m playing) a lot, but still haven’t share here.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (Multi, 2015)
I started playing past weekend and it’s incredible how, even if gameplay mechanics are similar, I enjoyed a lot more than de prologue/demo Ground Zeroes. The opening is spectacular but a bit confusing, so, for now, I’m not considering uploading it as “Best Game Openings”. From that point, the game opens and for now is almost completely centered in gameplay, while the story doesn’t progress too much (surely, that will come later, but it’s a big change compared to previous titles).
Even if a try to play stealthy, sometimes you make a mistake or sometimes you just want to have fun, here two examples: killing four soldiers with a single grenade and using the mortar.
Rocket League (Multi, 2015)
Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars was part of PS+ offering for PS3, but I didn’t play it too much, to be honest. Suddenly, they announced the sequel and during the beta the impressions where incredible, like something big was coming. I was ready to buy it day one but then the title was announced as part of PS+ offering. The game is incredible addictive and one of the best games released this year, to play against IA, friends or online. And when you score in the last second the feeling is insuperable:
Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 (Multi, 2014)
As I already mentioned in another post, I only played FIFA during PS3 era, buying a FIFA game every two years, but with last games I was feeling some fatigue, not enjoying them enough. So, when I was looking for a football game for PS4, I finally decided to wait during first year and buy PES 2015 past year. The game is not perfect, but I’m really having a good time, playing it mostly offline and scoring goals like this (shooting is 100% manual, so makes moments like this more special):
BONUS: DRIVECLUB (PS4,2014)
Yes, this game has already appeared a lot here, but it continues being on of my most played games. I shared via Twitter these GIFs some time ago, but I wanted to share them here, spectacular moment:
