I usually review the kind of content I’m uploading trying to improve, for example, in variety. So I decided to search through my gaming archives in older games and another platforms. After some days without uploading new videos (because I had doubts and because I had little free time to prepare this properly) I came across Super Metroid, a game that couldn’t play on Super Nintendo/Super Famicom, but I could enjoy later. And I find the opening excellent, for a game that has been genre defining.
The cinematic approach mixed with gameplay (that boss fight) sets the tone of the story perfectly, in this game that serves as conclusion of the first trilogy (across three Nintendo platforms) of Samus Aran, one of the first iconic female characters. The game was released in 1994, written and directed by Yoshio Sakamato and developed by Nintendo and Intelligent Systems.
